Congrats on getting the car going.
Always have liked Chris's car and I knew it would go deep into the 9's.
Keep up the good work!

Power is obviously good out of the LS7's. I've got my 01Z down to 3100 w/the A/C still in it. . .
You guys tubbed the car? Sheet metal anywhere replaced? Got alot of fiberglass into it? Thats what we're asking for. DETAILS, PICTURES

Maybe because people actually wanted fox bodies when they were new, the third gen cars were never near as popular as 5.0s.

Car weighs 3050 with Driver, has carpet, headliner, stock dash with custom guage cluster, 12 point cage, its a LS6 darton sleeved block with LS7 heads and the stock plactic manifold. Plus I have a pioneer radio and listen to my favorite songs going down the track We still have a lot of tweaking to do to the car, hoping to shave another .2-.3 off the quarter times.

We will be out at Kennedale this friday nite for all who wish to come watch.

There is a couple engine shots. We have since changed the radiator hoses, the rubber hoses were in the way. Again, thanks for all the compliments.

Wow that is cool. Keep in mind that we ran these times on stock PCM. Tuned it with EFIlive by the shop owner and tuner, Arvil Fowler.

Head porting is still done in house, as is everything. I will let chris post up about the RPM spinning numbers, as I am not the driver. Chris hand ported the heads. Thanks for the compliments on the car.

I am Chris Fowler, I built the engine, ported the cylinder heads, and I am the driver. My father, Arvil Fowler, tuned the stock pcm with EFI Live software. I shift the car at 8100rpm, and no its not a huge cam. It is a solid roller and the specs will not be released.

We do have some video of me filling it up at Chevron full of 93 octane and all the passes out at Ennis, which we will post up soon as we can. In the meantime, we encourage you guys to come by the shop or come hang out with us at the track.

New and quicker times coming real soon
