Default hot street?

anyone here get any work done at a shop called Hot Street in burleson? its a nice shop with fair pricing, but i was wanting some feedback before i let anyone touch my Z28. i was planing on having headers installed. they said they could get me coated pacesetter headers with high flow cats installed for 950.00. any feedback would be appreciated

I heard that they only did dyno tuning on carbureted cars...... It's not really hard to do a header swap and can't really screw anything up major, I just wouldn't let them build me a motor. Or tune my car....

LMR is a little far from here.

IMO $950 is steep. What cats are they going to use?

Just some spur of the moment price changes and additional "shop fees" I've heard of from various sources. Plus better known shops like Simple Quick and Xtreme are both too close and are more specialized in our cars for me to try an all around performance shop of unkown/questionable skills.

Magnaflow/Carsounds are good, but are they metallic core? I wouldn't use cermamic core now that the metal core is out.

Go to Simple Quick or Xtreme, Hot Street tried to charge me 850.00 to install a Pro Kit.
Simple Quick did mine headers and y install for 350.00 that included codes. http://www.simplequickracing.com
