Which one is it once the manifold is off? I am replacing it tomorrow and am wanting to know which one to replace. Thanks!

Replace them both, you have everything off and there cheap. When one fails the other is soon to follow.

Yep. Do them both. You might pick up an oil sending unit too if it's an F-body. Pretty common to break them. If you don't break it you can always return it after your done.

mine worked fine to, just always registered low oil pressure. started to think i had something wrong cause at WOT it was only half way on the needle. switched over and now pressures work great. but if yours works good then don't worry about it, it's just something incredibly easy to break when you put on the manifold. seriously, if you fart wrong well putting the manifold on it's going to be time to go by another sending unit.

It's at the back of the intake between the intake and brake booster vacuum line. It doesn't sound like it but trust me you will most likely break it. When I did mine the local O'Reilly did not have one in stock. I'd make sure you have one on hand otherwise you may be down for a day waiting on one.

You also want to look closely at the harness. The two common issues with the harness are corroded plugs on the sensor end or it may get pinched causing the harness to short. On my 99 I had all these issues. What started as a single sensor turned into 2 knock sensors, harness, oil sending unit and intake o-rings. It's all good now.

Well, everything went fairly well and the code is gone! knock sensor was definitely corroded to hell. front one still looked brand new. I cleaned out the harness and RTVed a dam around each sensor leavin an open spot for water runoff. only thing that was an issue was that one of the tiny bolts broke that help holds the throttle cable in place. definitely don't overtorque the bitches!
