Default Heading to Dallas-FW, BBQ recommendations

I'll be out for one night, I've heard nothing but great things about Texas BBQ, so recommendations are greatly appreciated.

I'll be getting in around 9pm, enough time for some food and a few pitchers. I work the next day then fly out.

I don't care about cole slaw, beans, I don't eat veggies, I just want the beef/pork/chicken.

I've found these places near my hotel:
Hobbi's Barbeque
Dickey's Barbecue Pits
Red Hot & Blues Barbecue
Sonny Bryan's Smokehouse
Texas Bar & Grill

Bonus points given to locations with hot waitresses.

Thanks in advance.

Red Hot and Blue ...

If you feel like a road trip ... Hammonds in Glen Rose. Picnic tables and saw dust on the floor.

I wouldn't mind venturing further from the airport/hotel, but given I'm arriving at 9pm, I don't have much choice.

All those mentioned above are great but if your looking for the girls too try Wing House. They have nice girls dressed just like Hooters girls but in black and they're pork bbq sandwich is to die for. 2 dfw locations.

Red Hot & Blues Barbecue
Sonny Bryan's Smokehouse

Both pretty good. Much better than the others you listed.

I'm not sure of any BBQ places open past 9-10pm...Railhead is good and Lee's BBQ in Haslet (N. Fort Worth) If you're looking for hot waitresses and a place that's open late Dublin Square is open till 2am every night and the chicks wear short plaid mini skirts and black tops....

Yep, closing time ends up being a factor. I wish my stay was longer, I'd drive my rental car to a meet too.

Just make sure you wash it all down with a shiner bock or ziegen bock, don't get suckered in by the "lone star" as you will leave texas with a bad taste in your mouth.

IMHO

#1 Dickey's (good smoke, good sauce, killer dill potato salad)
#2 Sonny Bryan's (the one on inwood closes after they sell out of meat typically around lunchtime, but the others are open all day)

....most BBQ places don't have waitresses.

Bone Daddies - Like hooters but with barbecue, and good barbecue at that. Best Waitresses by far, most dress ultra slutty, and play the part to a tee. Not too expensive.

The last time I was there (oh, a week ago I guess), the waitress took our order with her ***** literally resting on the table. Good times.

Bone Daddy's for scenery, Red Hot and Blue is pretty good. When I lived in Marshall though there is a place called Bodacious BBQ that was really good. It's a sweet BBQ though.

X2

Sonny Bryans is the original, but some of the satellite locations are not as good.

I like Spring Creek BBQ on 75, but they aren't open that late.
