Default Anyone know of shops for rent in Spring?

I live off Rayford road in Spring and was looking into renting a shop so I have a place to work on my first gen and store my trailer. Does anyone know of any good places to look for shops for rent? What can I expect for a monthly rent payment?

I dont need anything huge but I'd prefer a little safer location so no big worry for breakin and enough room to park a trailer, and work on 1 car with possibly 1 other car parked in the shop.

Thanks!
William

That's what I'm looking for. I dont even know what to look for pricewise! I am just starting to look into it and havnt' been able to find anything for sizes/pricing etc.

I do know if the price is to high i'll say screwit and just work with the room we got in the garage and turn our guest bedroom into car storage!

I have researched some places.... Small warehouse type places without AC with an office in front range from 600- well over 2grand per month. Better off finding an acre of land and having a steel building erected.

That place does look really cool but for the price I probably would just buy land and put up a building of my own. Thanks for the links!

Theres a piece of crap (seriously a dump) storage place on Hardy right past cypresswood that a bunch of people use as their "shops". Each unit has about 3 busted *** cars parked accross from it and when I drove through there were cars on lifts and people welding and cutting inside the units. I think it was called Fill-er up or something. I guess thats where you would go on a budget

Def. cheaper to build your own in the long run. My dad just had a shop built (wood frame & metal outside of course) It's 40x90 w/ a wood frame and metal outside of course. If you're close to pearland he would probably rent you 1/3 of it..lol.

How much did your Dad's shop cost to build? Total invested? Pics?

It helps that he knows all the people personally that did the work so I'm sure he got it done MUCH cheaper than what it would really cost, plus he did the plumbing himself of course. I think if he had to build one for someone it would cost maybe 35-50k depending on the size, but I could be off. I'll get some pics this weekend, it's pretty nice though, 3 big rollup doors in the front, the left 1/3 of the building also has a door inside to close it off from the other 2/3 of the shop if we want. Have a lift on the small side along w/ a big center drain to pull in cars and wash them I'll post up pics this weekend sometime.
