My "new" baby! DSOM C6
I'm not ballin' it up like some of you, so I had to settle for an '05 model, but the good thing about it, it only had 7k miles on it.
The car is absolutely flawless. Looks like it just came off the showroom floor. I mean...that should be expected for only having 7k miles on it.
I bought the car about a month and a half ago, just haven't had the time to post up about it. I have been wanting a Vette for a while now, but started seriously looking a couple of months ago.
Well I finally found exactly what I was looking for and it couldn't have gotten any better, because I found it in Alvin! Imagine that, lol.
Anyhow, here are the details:
2005 Chevrolet Corvette
Daytona Sunset Orange Metallic
Cashmere Leather Interior
6.0L LS2 400HP
6 Speed Manual Transmission
1SB Preferred (equivalent to a 4LT)
Power Driver and Passenger Seat
Power Windows
Power Mirrors
Power Locks
Heads Up Display
6 In-Dash CD Player
XM Radio
OnStar
Memory Seats
Telescoping Wheel
Push button start
Dual Climate Control
Magnetic Ride Control (F55)
Polished Wheels
Xenon lights (HIDs)
Transparent Removal Targa Top
GMPP Performance Exhaust
Basically all the options except for navigation and color-matched top.
Before even getting the plates, I tinted the windows, paint-matched the door handles and spoiler, self-installed Kooks 1 3/4" stainless steel longtube headers with JetHot Sterling Coating, Kooks 3" x-pipe with high flow cats, and Corsa Sport exhaust w/Pro Series Tips.
I have one BIG modification in the works. I should be receiving the "kit" next week. I will post more up when I install it.
Anyhow, let me know what you think.

Exactly what I would have got options wise, minus the fact that it didn't have nav. (who cares) Nice buy for sure, get some C6 Z06 Brakes on there and the body kit. I'm sure you will take care of it, CONGRATS!

-Ross-, Motor Trends. I made one last attempt before bed one night because I had looked every where and I had found it through AutoTrader.
ProjecT 9, who said anything about a blower? I said kit...
_Zac, yeah...I really wanted to have it because I like that it has the Corvette flag on the display when you start it up. I'll probably do the ZO6 rear fenders and chrome wheels sooner or later. I just dropped several Gs on the Vette that I haven't even had 2 months.
DeerHunter_Z28, ahh c'mon man, it's all good. It's just a C6, no big deal.

Nice car Jeramy. Be careful with that rear axle, they are super-weak on the '05 cars. If you get any wheel hop, let off the throttle ASAP. Otherwise it will be a $3500 lesson.

Nine Ball, 'preciate it. Thanks for the heads up. So much for enjoying that kit that will be here on Tuesday. Looks like that's an area I'm going to have to address before I really start having any fun.
Deech, thanks man.
