Goodbye Helix hello Technip
this post is more for the guys on here still at Helix. others may read/post if they want.
Just wanted to say hi to everyone back at Helix. I took a nice long vacation and started at Technip on Monday.
I am in teh subsea engineering group not the installation group.
talk about going from one end of the project life cycle to the other. The project I am working on now started a year ago and should be installed in early 2013. Its a pretty big project though.
anyways, I just wanted to say hi, maybe sometime when yall have an afterwork BSP meeting I will come downa nd have a beer with yall.

Technip... They are going to try and get into the ROV business I think? Perry Slingsby is contracted to build subs for them if I remember right. Or maybe they had some deal with SubSea7?
