Default Anyone local sandblast wheels?

I picked up a set of powdercoated smoothie 2s... The clear coat/powdercoating needs to be stripped badly. How much would this cost to get done?
Thanks
Patrick.

You DO NOT want to have them sandblasted. It'll be cheaper and safer to get them chemically stripped.

I agree with the above, sandblasting is the quick and dirty way of doing it, but you will not get the final results you are looking for.

IMO, you will probably spend less money buying a new set, than having them stripped and then re-poweder coated.

Good luck either way.

dude aircraft stripper is hardcore. i used that to strip off paint on my lts and it worked awesome. but get some chemical resistant gloves. it dissolves rubber gloves like nothing. i vote chemical over media blasting.

aircraft stripper worked on mine but i had to do it like 3-4 times to get it all the way done. the silver and clearcoat came off real easy, but there was like a base coat or something that was a son of a bitch to come off. just get a pressure washer and spray it off. the stripper burns no big deal, got it all over my legs, feet, and hands but not that bad
