I actually like what I do (not what my folks sacrificed three and a half years of CSU Hayward though) lol. It kinda slowed the past week and a half b/c of Ike but over all it is pretty productive. I won't state my salary on here but look at my garage and I'm in the process of buying a decent brand new home. It is a lot of sacrificing involved (working away from home for up to 4 weeks at a time) but in my situation its perfect. If you want to be home every day or night and picky about where you go you won't make s**t but on the other hand if you go where your dispatcher asks and willing to stay gone for a while, you'll do quite well. I don't load or unload anything, just drive, the co has decent benefits and take care of fuel. And yes I was in the Valley lol.
