Since the boss (Wife) is out of town I have a free pass for the entire week. I am going and will be running my truck. (Wish I had time to change the pulley)
I think we are all headed to my house afterwards to drink some beer and chill. Heard some talking about a Madden tournament.

****, I've been making passes with the 60E and 100 pills. Funny thing is, I'd drag MOST in this thread with this baby setup. LOL

Just playing with it so I don't get bored until it gets deep.

For every good customer, you have 10 guys that have been to every shop in town, looking for a "deal." Or the guy that comes in asking you "how do I....." Those guys have no loyalty what-so-ever. I've tuned on people's car for free. They say, "man, when I need something done to my car, I'm coming here." We never see them again. Those are the people that make a shop not want to bend over backwards to help someone that walks in off the street.
That hurt my feelings.

actually I have been to 3 shops..... SQR (which was far to drive to and slightly more inconvenient and I went there after meeting Billy from TRT), then TRT (yall all know how that ended up), than the folks at RPM got everything looking right from TRT's lack of detail and lack of knowledge on the nitrous setup etc.

If I had only stuck with SQR, I would have saved thousands and thousands of dollars. Also, I might have not pissed the folks off there in the process from what I can tell they don't seem to be "pleased" with my error in judgement.

BBC, am I considered one of those folks that is "always looking for a deal"? Let me know what ya find out! ...... ****.... SQR's price on a cam/tune/exhaust install was 120.00 more than TRT.... but I was very content with the price based on the fact that the SD tune was spot on!

Trust me..... quality kicks prices *** every time. (it only took me a few thousand to figure that one out) Hence why I went to HKE for the shortblock and paid more for Greg to do the heads vs less for Chris Frank.

Why keep stirring the pot Zach? I agree with AgFormula02 (larry) for the most part..... in terms of being able to pay attention he is Donald Trump and you are that guy in Katrina running away with/holding the Heiny bottles!

Shops shouldn't give friends discounts, yet should reward loyal customers with better pricing. Being friends doesnt help pay the bills.

Mikey, thats what I was saying lol. People who think they are friends are customers, pure and simple. I agree with ag too, but I also think what I had said in the beginning has been reworded and molested so bad that people are picking sections out to quote instead of whole paragraphs.

I believe the media does that too.

I dunno.

The experienced tuner who spends the most time on a car.

Tuning on the dyno is basically getting the timing and A/F on spot.

As far as the rest it is all about driving it... watching the STFT, LTFT, O2's, timing, EGT's, IAT's, and driveability.

More time with a wideband = better tune..... as long as the competent tuner knows what to look for.

I would rather go to someone who has every credit and has done hundreds of cars vs someone who just bought HPTuners or EFILive etc. Half the battle may have already been won and all they need to do is tweak for your specific mods.
