Tuning Shops??
I think we are all headed to my house afterwards to drink some beer and chill. Heard some talking about a Madden tournament.

bring some wheels and tires for me and I might show up :deal:
For every good customer, you have 10 guys that have been to every shop in town, looking for a "deal." Or the guy that comes in asking you "how do I....." Those guys have no loyalty what-so-ever. I've tuned on people's car for free. They say, "man, when I need something done to my car, I'm coming here." We never see them again. Those are the people that make a shop not want to bend over backwards to help someone that walks in off the street.

actually I have been to 3 shops..... SQR (which was far to drive to and slightly more inconvenient and I went there after meeting Billy from TRT), then TRT (yall all know how that ended up
), than the folks at RPM got everything looking right from TRT's lack of detail and lack of knowledge on the nitrous setup etc. If I had only stuck with SQR, I would have saved thousands and thousands of dollars. Also, I might have not pissed the folks off there in the process from what I can tell they don't seem to be "pleased" with my error in judgement.
BBC, am I considered one of those folks that is "always looking for a deal"? Let me know what ya find out!
Trust me..... quality kicks prices *** every time. (it only took me a few thousand to figure that one out) Hence why I went to HKE for the shortblock and paid more for Greg to do the heads vs less for Chris Frank.
Can't spend the cash... I need to get some money back from my expenses from College Station.
btw, edit your sig.... that bitch has more than a 6.0 right?
The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
The car does have mre than a forged 6.0 Will update sig soon.
Jesus, if your not the ones with the issues why stick up for the ones who are?
( interesting )
Shops shouldn't give friends discounts, yet should reward loyal customers with better pricing. Being friends doesnt help pay the bills.
I believe the media does that too.
I dunno.

Tuning on the dyno is basically getting the timing and A/F on spot.
As far as the rest it is all about driving it... watching the STFT, LTFT, O2's, timing, EGT's, IAT's, and driveability.
More time with a wideband = better tune..... as long as the competent tuner knows what to look for.
I would rather go to someone who has every credit and has done hundreds of cars vs someone who just bought HPTuners or EFILive etc. Half the battle may have already been won and all they need to do is tweak for your specific mods.

BOSS APPROVED!
says the guy above with what???? a stock car
