Looking for shop to weld SFC - Florida, Brevard County
Looking for shop to weld in SFC's, preferably in Brevard county (FL). Found one so far, very high end shop, and I am not looking to pay for "half day" of labor. Did I grossly underestimate the cost of this mod.... I was thinking $100-$150 tops. UMI box style, underbody is in good shape,....

Half a day is way too much......it can be done in less than an hour...make sure that the car is on a rack that you drive up on..you must have the car sitting on its tires so that the chassis is loaded with the full weight of the car...shop around and you will find someone who can do it without ripping you off for a half a day..good luck....it should cost $75-$100

Thanks for the good vibe. I have checked with a sponsor from the list, and was quoted a nice deal, just about a half a tank of gas away. I am pretty impulsive, and if it comes down to it, will just make the drive.
Wish I hadn't slept so late (I work graveyard shifts).... Camarofest, is a short drive away, next to or at Ecklers Corvettes in Titusville. Could have driven down there and asked someone I bet
SFC, DA 4140 PHB, LCA, visible in living room, not on car yet, so, so sad....

Meineke worked out good. Bringing the SFC's by the cocoa shop tomorrow AM after work. Thanks for the tip, I had found one of the sponsors willing to do it good price as well, but this trumps a long drive.
Can't wait to get this done, lessons learned from owning an 81 Firebird, and a 69 Camaro in the past...... (IMHO), do the suspension first. After this and the LCA's + APHB go on, time to save for Torque Arm, then a vig 3600 and full tune.
