Default Whats the best valve spring compressor?

I got some L92's recently and i will be assembling them soon. What is the best valve spring compressor to use. I don't want to spend $300. I will be assembling the heads on the bench. Also, any good tips to assembling heads? I have assembled engines just not the heads. Thanks fellas.

I've done springs three times with these and works awesome. He's very good at getting you the product. Search him and you'l find it.

Just so everyone knows, this tool will not work on LS3 heads. The rocker boss's are farther apart due to the wider intake port. I purchased the Crane tool only to be pissed off that it wouldn't bolt on

If you can find a way to hold the head at the right angle you can use a drill press.

You just need to cut a large window in a properly sized old socket to acsess the keepers. A pick tool also helps with the keepers, like a dentists pick.

I have a set up like this at work, I'll take some pictures if there is any confusion, or people would like more info.

On the older 350 heads (w/them removed from the engine) I was able to use a very large c-clamp along w/ a thick piece of metal that I grinded into shape in order remove the keepers. I wouldn't recommend this method, but all stores were closed and I was curious.
