Thumbs up Mechanix Wear gloves on sale at Menards, $7.99.

There just like there Original Mechanix Wear glove but have NASCAR team numbers on them, I really didn't care what number they had on them because at $7.99 you can't go wrong. I called Mechanix Wear and asked about there warranty ( 100% replacement ), I was told if they don't have the NASCAR number you have they just send the Original Mechanix Wear gloves ( which is fine with me ) to replace them with. A little note here, when returning worn glove you need to call Mechanix Wear first, you will be given an authorization number to place on a envelope ( you pay shipping, under two bucks for me and they ship UPS to you at no cost ).

Angry

Well that conflicts with what they told me a few weeks ago!

90 days is what the lady said.

I've used the replacement warranty several times before, without an issue. Guess I need to try once again ...

Did Mechanix Wear tell you that or the place you bought them from, inside the paper cover the gloves come in it says " Warranty: Should product be damaged by normal use, Mechanix Wear will repair or replace it. ". There's nothing about a 90 day warranty, I own several pairs of the Original gloves and have returned ( after being worn out ) them for replacement quite a few times without a problem.

Called Mechanix in CA ... done it many times and always received replacements.

I had an old insert and thought things had changed.

Like I said, I'm definitely gonna give it another try ...

Thanks!

I used to send them back to Mechanix Wear often. I had 3 pair that I kept rotating. It got to where I was sending back a pair of gloves like every 2-3 weeks for replacement. I got in good with a girl there and she would just send me out a pair before I sent mine in. After about 10 times of sending them back for the same problem, finger seams rip apart, she started sending me the ImpacII for replacements. They were tearing too. She also sent me a few prototype pairs which they were trying to address the seam problem. They tore too. I stopped sending them back because it became more of a hassle than it was worth, and my contact there wqent to work for another part of the company, Renthal. I started buying the Matco gloves, they suck in the seam department too. Then my dealer told me he won't warranty them any more. Now I'm stuck buying a $40.00 pair of ImpacII's(best Ive found yet), every month or so.

Tim98TA, I've never had a problem with the seams, the tips of the fingers wear out from just normal use for me. Now that I have seven pairs I'll wait until I need four pairs replaced before sending them back for replacement.

I found a pair of gloves at Tractor Supply that feels very much like Mechanix/Ringers gloves. They are an ugly blue color and cost ~$10.

With the work that we do, we are VERY rough on gloves. Glad it isn't my hands taking the beating. We still get burns, cuts, etc. through the gloves, but it's not as bad as it would be without gloves at all.
