Default Moving vehicle with no rear wheels/axles on?

Hey there, I blew my rear end and had to send my brake backing plates in for the assembly of a new rear end. I was wondering if any one knows of a product that isnt too expensive to move my car into the garage. Maybe some type of jack stand with wheels under them, I know you can you a floor jack under the center of the rear end, but Im afraid of the car falling off the jack since there is a little crack on the floor to get into my garage. One of my neighbors called the city on me to complain about my car being on jack stands and I have to put it in the garage. The vehicle does not have axles or wheels on the rear end.

thanks!

put your wheels in you wheel wells and lower the car down with a jack and leave it there. nothing will look bad about that. then they can't complain

I can't top this.

But I would try and use a tapered piece of plywood to get the floorjack over the crack.

moving dollys or wheel dollys under the frame rails will let you move it around, can get them cheap at places like harbor freight...

I have a cheap wood HF dolly that says it supports 1000 lbs but i have had 1500 on it rolling it around, and never had an issue.

Funny , my neighbor did the same thing when i had the whole front suspension apart. if its in a legal spot why not leave it alone? no, "its unsightly". These people have nothing better to do I couldnt believe how many random flats he got after that... ;-) couple of dollys might work if you rig up some cross beams. Think of a skate board with the wheels/trucks rotated 90 degrees...
