Thanks for sharing ive never read that. Im going to post this at my shop where we use MIG somewhat often and brake cleaner on a daily basis. I have felt similar symptoms to those, thankfully none of the more serious ones...and I thought it was going to be about not wearing your wedding ring while welding.
The brake clean we use and is probably found in most of California doesn't have the tetrachloroethylene in it(also says non-chlorinated on front) but the electrical parts cleaner we use does have it, so be careful of not only brake cleaner but others as well.

Thanks for posting that I'll definitely be more careful when i do the same on some welding jobs, normally i use the same chemical then wipe the area off with a rag but I think I'll try and stick to the wire brush and find a better solution for the same things reasoning of using them. Definitely printing this and hanging it in the shop!
