Default Toe Bar

I had to make one........tired of paying for alignment because I don't have a rack...........I welded up some 1" x 2" ........ cut 2 pieces to reach the middle of the sides of the tire and welded them to a piece abot 3" longer than the width of my tires.......used free metal and I'm used to using them on the 3 racecars I crew for......If you want to know how to use one , lemme know......

hes looking at toe, not caster or camber. i'm assuming to center the steering wheel.

Toyota came up with a way to center the steering wheel by measuring how far off in eiter direction by putting tape on the steering wheel and steering column and measuring from the center line when the vehicle is driving straight. the steering wheel can be 1-5mm off center in either direction and you turn the inner tie rods opposite ways by so many flanks in matrix to the 1-5mm off.

If you are interested in trying this I can take pics of the procedure. Far as being accurate 1-5mm off I normally just guess and do it nascar style and dial in another half flank of adjustment etc.

This is a quick way, i'd say easy way out of centering the steering wheel. in 6 months my shop is getting a brand new Hunter 811 to replace our 1989 John bean alignment rack (if you call it) that uses a 386 processor computer.
The hunter alignment with win toe is the most accurate way of setting toe that will best affect tire wear.

i know hes not measuring caster and camber with a toe bar but keep in mind that toe is only 1 alignment angle that causes tire wear. straighting the steering wheel is fine and all but you still can have driveability problems if caster and camber are out such as wondering.

Same thing we use.

Caster and camber can both be measured with a smart level, although the latter requires some math.
