Question Torque Wrench that fits LCA bolts??

Both my 1/2" and 3/8" torque wrench are too big to fit into the body well around the LCA bolt head.

Anyone know of a torque wrench that fits into that small space to I can accurately torque these heads rather than just wrenching them tight?

if you can't use a tork wrench, tighten the bolts in several sequences (like four or five rounds instead of two or three) to ensure that the bolts apply force evenly.

you should be able to guess how much is enough and still be close. using many sequences helps get all the bolts within a few pounds of each other which is almost as important as getting the final tork for each bolt to spec.

Back to the top, I am sure not too many of us have 1" extensions laying around in our rollaways and I have a 6ft rollaway so I have a lot of tools, this is a big issue and I would like to know how everyone is or is not torquing their LCA bolts...I suspect most are not...? Am I correct? PLMK

I dont torque those bolts on my thidrgen...but a 1" extension gets it done. Sounds like if you have a lot of tools, buying a 1"er wont be a big deal. Grab one and torque away.

Im going to keep tightening mine like I have been for a long time...get her at ride height and crank em down. Never had an issue.

I, too, just do mine by hand for those particular bolts. Come to think of it, there aren't many bolts that I DO torque down properly back there...

While my car was at the front end shop on the rack, I paid the guy to torque them down, best $15 I spent yet. Much easier on the rack versus laying on your back.

I used a "crows foot" a little open end wrench that attaches to a ratchet.
