best place to buy transmission jack?

Default best place to buy transmission jack?

I've been looking for transmission jacks and I can't find them? any suggestions

If you're just on jackstands, you might be OK with a good ol' big floor jack. I had my girlfriend run the jack, and I was underneath doing the pivot, push, tug, etc, when we did the clutch on my f-body, with the car on 3 ton stands as high as they go.

Some folks have bought a tranny jack that takes a 1/2" ratchet, and sorta ratchets up and down. As for the full-height, use-me-under-a-lift jacks, you'd probably need to go to somewhere more than pep boys, or perhaps order it online?

Harbor Freight has them on sale every
few months, seems like.

yep get it at Harbor Freight

They have the scissor type jack that works very well under jackstands.
