Arrow is there a tool for checking if a valve spring is good??

i am looking for a tool that i can use to check if a valve spring is good. one that i can use while the heads are on the car. does any one have one or know where i can get one??

We use a tool at school for checking valve springs, im not sure what its called but im pretty sure its not cheap, but the valve springs had to be out of the heads. Not sure if you can check them while still in the head

several companies offer them for assembled engine checking. I don't know if they will work on the ls1 or fit under the cowl area of the f-bodies though. You can also pick up some cheaper off the car versions as well. Check with the sponsors, local hot rod shops or jegs/summit.
