You have a beautiful baby, Jeffs99SS. Someday, when I have settled down I hope to have one of my own. Tear.

Thanks for the compliments, guys. I looked at a lot of boxes, and in the end decided I like what Matco had to offer. I felt it was of equal quality (if not higher than) to the Snap On boxes that are out right now. It's 2 years old, and I was able to get it for about a third of what it retails for. I'm thinking it'll be a good investment also.

What does a box like that go for? I am thinking of investing in a new box soon. 20+ year old snap on has seen better days

That box lists for about $5200 new. I personally couldn't justify spending that much money on it. If I was a mechanic who did this for a living I might feel differently. I bought it slightly used (it was built in 2003, used for 6 months, then sat in a garage) for a little less than 1/3 of the list price.

nice looking box - good buy. i bought my snap on top and bottom used for 3500 and love it. i do it for a living though and it is now too small, and i am thinking of getting a tripe bay matco with a hutch and phone booths on the sides. so if anyone is interested i might be posting soon a thread to sell my toolbox.. but good purchase man you'll love it.

I think you should donate all your old stuff to me!! haha j/k Jeff...that box is pretty sick...and I hope it takes you a long time to fill, otherwise I'm gonna say you need to go to tools anonymous, that thing is HUGE!

Actually that box is small. My Snap-on box has one more set of drawers on the right side than that box and it is almost full. The sad part is that I'm not even out of school yet and I'm thinking about getting a top chest for it.
Tool boxes fill up faster than you think especially with a $5,500 Mac Tools card.
