It's an 85th anniversay Snap-on wrench that has some sort of chromalusion plating (not paint). They also did a royal blue plating with gold lettering.
I got to speak with the guy who did these, he works for zippo (the lighter company), wouldn't tell me what the exact type of plating or the process is though.

I agree with that. Never have been refused a free replacement. Sears is about 2 miles from my shop.
