Default In-Car tool kit

What is everyone using for an in-car tool kit(if any)?
Something that would cover fixes away from home.

I went to target and got a 152 peice tool set for 49 bucks. Not the greatest tools...obviously, but for what they are used for its great. Its a little thin case that I sets right up on my trunk cover and its there when I need it.

I carry a full-size spare in my backseat on an angle,a small floor jack under it and a full toolbox, cables and other stuff. Overkill=yes, but for the 130 lbs or so extra, its only like having a small person in the car. AND, you won't see ME stuck on the side of any road......also have BCAA- [AAA]. [ just 1 other person is in car 50% of the time ]

I have a full craftsman set in my truck- like 150-160 pieces. shallow and deep standard and metric sockets. 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" drive, ratchets, extensions, screwdrivers, wrenches. I also have lights, and some recovery equipment- tow strap and shackles. The kit makes all kinds of noise and weighs a ton, but its saved my *** onmore than once.

I have a Craftsman 194 peice set in my truck too, I also loaded up the case with a bunch of other stuff. I throw it in the car when I head to the track sometimes (the case fits right in the spare tire well). Just swing by Sears, they have kits in nice boxes to suit just about anybody. Most of them are under $200.

I carry a Craftsman tool bag. Craftsman metric cobination wrench set 7-18mm, Assorded gear wrenches (important 10mm size)
Leatherman universal tool, 3/8" ratchet, with 4-18mm sockets. 3/8"Extension, Assorted Screwdrivers. 1/2" breaker bar, big sockets for lug nuts.
Spark plug socket, and gap tool.
Tire pressure gauge.
Flashlight and headlamp.
Mechanix Gloves.
1 large shop rag

Spare parts kept on the car. Used belts, big and small, and 4 plug wires. Spare lug nuts.

I also have a 12 volt air compressor.

Knock on wood, this has helped me with any issues I, or mostly friends have had on the road.
