This is the garage that has to suffice for now. Just got done, just got to run eletric and move all my stuff in. took roughly 8 weeks working on it on the weekends. 14X30 was the largest possible garage the township would allow on the property.

know its super small but when your used to an apartment a garage any size is a godsend. This is my first house ever so i dont exactly know any better. lol It used to be a carport that was converted to a garage. I didnt the floors and peg board walls.

this is what i used to put up with at the apt. It sucked

I would say that if you aren't going to use the space above the ceiling for anything special than I would just insulate the ceiling above, not the roof.

14x40 storage unit. homeowner's association didnt think my driveway projects were helping home values in the neighborhood. so i get to spend money on a building that could be used for go fast parts. but its nice to be dry all the time so cant complain.

no beer fridge. have to use the cooler. only have 2 plugs inside. luckily tho, my unit is on the end so i got an ext cord runnin out thru the wall to the outlet on the end of the building.

Update from my post above.

Now I'm in a 25x30' shop a few miles from the house.

I've had a little time to clutter it up. Working on pricing lifts out at the moment.

Here's my garage, 24x24 2.5 car garage. Ive replaced a few engines, done some car mods, maintenance and plenty of cussing and beer drinking in this garage. I'm putting OSB on the walls with R13 Insulation, also putting a ceiling up and already have some recessed lighting installed. I have a 60 Gallon Compressor in the corner, plenty of shelf and bench space as well as a wood burning stove! I can even park my Suburban in here in the winter time!

^ My garage is the exact same, except for the celing that is a little lower I think, I dont have pictures of my garage yet because its a huge mess due to my 86 TA restoration project going on, also there a ton of other things in there too; freezer, table saw, generator, on the back wall theres a line of cabinets going from one side to the other,

Window side is, gun case, locker setup(getting it out in the spring) dresser for spare parts and holds parts draws on top, craftsman tool chest(older one), vertical 33 gallon Craftsman air tank(6 star rated oil free), then right next to it in the corner is a horizontal 33 gallon(older one so it uses oil). I have 2 because I fried the crank on the horizontal one by not knowing to put oil in it, I fixed it and learned it had never been released of the condensation so I shook it and you could here the water and what sounded to be rust. Not taking and chances with that, Im getting either a new tank soo or a new compresssor. Its so much easier to switch hoses than to wait for the tank to fill.

Then the house side theres a stairway going down to the poker room/bar/family room. and thats basically it

i will post pics if anyone is interested but only if that

Nice garages guys - i've got a 1 car garage at my apt in Austin and a 2+1 at my house in Houston. All the garages are an absolute MESS from tools, race tires, spares, extra stuff, paper to recycle, boxes ETC ETC ETC - oh, and there's 4 cars in there somewhere...

So me and three other friends got together to have a "garage" for our car hobbies. Lucky thing is my Father in law owns tons of property and garages/warehouses here in town that he rents out. There's one that he's been using as his own storage place, so I asked if my friends and me could use it and he gave us the go, all we had to do was turn on power and pay the utility bill. We went in together and got a lift and between all our tools we put together a nice little shop. Here are the pics

And there's my camaro parked outside
