Here's mine. I started building it in 2007 and took me 2 summers. I did everthing but the concrete and drywall mudding. The cabinets were really fun to make

This pic was taken before I'd swept up the extra flakes on the floor, but you get the idea.

Sadly, now that I have the car ripped apart, it looks a little more like this...

I should have it back in shape this summer though.

Lots of amazing garages in this thread. Can't wait to finally have one of my own. Lift install and purchase will be cheap and easy as that's what I do for a job lol.

Just regular T12HO's from Lowes. I'm very satisfied with the amount of light they put out. I have 6 years on the bulbs and they're still strong

V10:

What is the foot print of that shop? I like it a lot and was wondering how many square feet it was.

Also, how high it the ceiling?

The shop is 30' wide x 36' deep. My ceilings came out to 10'8" high in most areas, but I used special order trusses over the lift to give me another 2'. I was height limited in my neighborhood and they gave me the roof slope i wanted, the lift clearance I needed, and saves me having to heat an extra 2000 cubic feet of air for nothing My storage room is 12' wide x 13' deep. I'm VERY happy with its size and how it turned out.

Thanks guys

And no, not a FFL, just have a family of 5 that loves to shoot, so we go through a lot of ammo at the range each time we go

Only pics I have right now are of the cars in my shop but you can see enough of the shop too. It's 40x50. All wiring and air is plumbed into the walls.

Somewhere in this thread are pictures of my old shop, but it is no longer mine. We bought a new house in December and I am busy building my new toy room. So far have done everything(except pouring/finishing the slab) myself with the help of my wife, father-in-law, and oldest son.

Formed up:

Concrete poured:

Ready for the building:

The day the building arrived:

Framing erected:

What I was doing this past Friday at midnight:

I have two of the roll up doors hung with two more to do, base angle to put around the bottom edge, and a few more pieces of trim to install before I start sheeting. Hoping to get to that point this weekend. I am ready to work in the shop instead of on it!
