I'd like to know this as well

Sears/Craftsman's customer service sucks from what I've seen at the stores, online, and calling the catalog direct... I'd gladly pay extra to a sponsor than have to deal with them directly

Sears and Western Auto are the only 2 places that sell Craftsman. I heard at one time K-Mart would be selling them (since the 2 companies merged) but I think that fizzled out.

I'm long distance and Sears kept me on hold forever. Wish there was a easier way.

Not true.

http://www.autobodytoolmart.com (non sponsor) sells Craftsman. I don't know of any sponsors that do though. I get ABTM catalogs every couple weeks, they advertise decent prices on Craftsman tools, but I can always find them on sale at Sears for less (if I wait for the sale ).

I have a Sears about 8 miles away, they are great when I break something, I am in and out in 5 minutes.

I've never had a problem with Craftsman, but I don't use them all the time either. And yes Sears and Kmart.

Up until about a year ago, Sears was the ONLY place you could buy Craftsman from. Now it's available at Kmart also, which is slowly disappearing and being renamed to "Sears Essentials" anyways.
