I know this is a bit late, but I have seen some interest in getting a calendar together for 2010. From what I understand, the previous makers are no longer interested in producing them.

I work at a graphics company, and we have the equipment to make these in-house. As of yet, I do not know exactly how our quality will compare with before, but we should be able to make something that looks quite nice.

There are 2 things I do know so far:

A:
To keep price down, (and quantity produced to obtain this price), there will be a margin around the edge of the page. There will be a .25 inch white border between any print or image and the edge of the paper. This simplifies things for me greatly, as we do not have a automated machine to trim, and it also lets me use smaller paper (11x17 instead of 12x18)
B:
That said, the other thing I know is Cost.
$10 per book plus shipping, which would be flat rate USPS envelopes. Those are $5. That would be $15 for one book, $25 for 2, $35 for 3, ect.

There are 2 purposes of this thread.

1.
To create a formatted list of who would be interested in a calendar, and how many they would want.

2.
To take submissions for photographs to be included in the calendar. 14 photographs would be needed. A cover photo, and 13 months (Jan2010-Jan2011)

I hope that we can be civilized enough to nominate our favorite photos, and take a VOTE on the 14 to be included in the book. **If this is not possible, than the staff of ls1tech or myself would decide.**

Before anyone spends any money I will print off a "test run" and post up pictures. You guys can than decide if you would like to purchase them.

My tentative deadline for this is to have taken all submissions and finalized picture choices by January 1, 2010 and have the calendars in the mail by Jan 20, 2010 at the latest.

Details on submitting pictures:

Must include a Model.

1. You must have the owner of the vehicles permission
2. You must have the model(s) permission
3. You should post a decent sized photo (or photos) in this thread (1080x768 or bigger) for us to look at.
4. You must have a high resolution picture for use in printing. I would say 2460x1640 at a minimum!
5. If you want any photoshopping done, please do it BEFORE submitting. (license plate, red eye, dirty car, ect)


When the final pictures are chosen, I am planning on including the Username, actual first name, and actual model's first name (and username if she has one).

I havent decided on a "mods list" or a "location" or any other items, but those can be included if so desired. I was never a huge fan of those in past calendars.
