Can't you put all the search options in the Advanced section or at least the Drop Down "search this forum" button

The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
So now we all have to change to Firefox to make sure we don't have issues with the site when using MS-IE?!? (And I'm using IE-8 now. So it's not a newer version problem.)
Yer right, that's irrelevant, ...

This is how I see it.
I would suggest that the search menu be put up at the top below the navigation bar to relieve some of the look headaches.
Overall, its good its split back up into the right sections.
It is still too crammed, this is what I see on my screen.

That is a MAJOR PAIN IN THE *** to read!
Thank you for helping out!
Thanks for seperating the LSX & non-LSX parts. That should make
things much better.
The main issue I have with the new system is this:
With the old system I would go into the LSX classifieds section,
scroll to the bottom of the page, & in the "Display Options" I would
sort the threads by "Thread Start Time". This allowed me to browse
miscelaneous LSX listings starting from the newest post. This option
saved me a lot of time since I didn't have to look over older posts
that I had already seen.
Since the system changeover I have been unable to find a way to
do this. Every section of LS1tech seems to have the "Display Options"
panel at the bottom of the page. Would it be possible to add it back
to the new classifieds section?
If there is already a way to do this with the new system please let me
know & disregard my entire post.
Thanks,
Daniel
I am not sure why some of you can't seem to be able to search with all states. I seem to be able to
Anyhow, we will fix that too.

The classifieds is still a pain in the ***. If your going to create subforums for every little thing that is going to be a bigger pain in the ***. I, like many others dont look for specific parts. We want to browse all available parts. Its bad enough you already have several classified sections, regional, vehicle type, then this.
If you dont frequent the classifieds then you probably cant comprehend what the problem is. It is still a pain in the ***.....the separation, and more importantly the way its laid out I think. The item description box is so small its tall and a pain to read.

What could have been done is wipe the whole classifieds out and take everything off of a backup file.. you do backup daily right? And then you would lose what was entered that day but not a big deal and only a minor hickup compared to the disaster that now exists.
The price block is an awesome idea...
Get rid of the row that says "categories" and make the title block way bigger. Maybe it looks ok on your browser but not mine. It takes up half the screen almost.
Also get rid of the private/vendor listing.. All it does is add clutter, take up space and its irrelevant anyways. Theres just too much going on. Shrink the search thing on the left, and be careful how you separate the stuff. I hate going to all diffferent forums to look for something because someone wasnt quite sure what one it was supposed to be in.
