Default regional forum suggestion ROCKY MOUNTAIN

Most other boards I frequent have a Rocky Mountain forum, which include Colorado, New Mexico, Wyoming, Kansas, nebraska etc..

on here it's difficult because they're all lumped in with California, nevada, arizona....well the whole west coast!

we kind of get lost in the shuffle so to speak!

any way to seperate West Coast, and Rocky Mountian?

thank you for your time and input!

I agree with this. Lately, the majority of posts in the western board have been from California/Arizona anyway.

Agreed, a seperate Rocky Mountain Section would help. Granted I'm new, but I've seen this on other "national" forums and its easier on the users to have the Rocky Mountain region split off.

BTW--Hi Mike!

yep. but with 7 posts, and 3 of them being yours, this thread carries a ton of momentum, let me tell you

get some more regular member support for the idea before you start asking for mod/admin support.

I believe you are refering to me regarding the 7 post counts. My comment was to simply state that on other "National" based forums they have a seperate forum for the Rocky Mountain regions.

My only observation has been that this forum is mainly based in the AZ and CA communities, not that its a bad thing, I mean no disrespect to the board. Its takes some time to find Rocky Mountain region specific threads.

Just look at the people using the regional sections. Westcoast has like 7 viewing were as Texas has over 20 most of the day with peaks around 45-50.

Don't get me wrong, I completely understand. It was simply a suggestion on Reverend Chaos' part that I agree with. If there aren't the members to support such a forum...... fair enough. Once there are enough members, then the suggestion may be raised again.

I read these threads. If you had more people asking we'd be more interested. The military forum was asked for a few times over the course of a year.

You are in fact incorrect, I was referring to the thread having 7 posts total and Reverand Chaos having posted 3 of those himself.

My point was, this thread isn't a real strong case to form a new section right now. Hence why I said - get some more folks interested - a good amount - and we'd get more involved!!

Im from South Dakota, and I think there needs to be a change. Since when was South Dakota part of the Northwest? I think we should be in the mid west one or maybe like this thread is saying rocky moutain.

who said anything about texas?

I'm not asking for a Colorado Forum! I was only suggesting that the "region area" needs to be restructured! it doesn't make sense! and most other boards have it set up a better way!

perhaps there aren't as many members posting in there from the rocky mountian area is because it is that way!

The point about Texas was that it has more activity than your western section.
