Google Ads?
Brains.... good job to you and those involved tonight.
This was before (again):

Here is how it looks now on my end. I would have capped Firefox but it looks the same as the legacy version of Mozilla I am on. The side ads show up, but the banner area is still unpopulated:

kudos for brains for working stuff out and getting a resolution for now...hopefully they wont bring the google ads back...thanks brains and those that helped you...im sure all the sponsors are happy
No google at all? I'm not opposed to some small google adding to make their money as long as they're not impeeding on sponsor space. There seems to be a lot of extra space on the page anyway.
Either way i'm happy it's back to the way it was.

wow, i just got home from work (2nd shift welder)....this was total chaos and pandemonium before i went to work, now i just got done sifting through the last ~15 pages after i logged on and saw things "normal" again...
i'd definately like to thank everyone for standing up and whipping *** at 'tech and IB. this site means a lot to a lot of people, i'd hate to see it go down. i hope everything works out for all parties involved and that the sponsors don't abandon us.

Jeez, this thread got long, quick.
I'm glad Tech is back to how it was, for the moment, and hope that the future changes involve more communication. Change isn't always bad, but when coupled with miscommunication (or lack of any communication..), it's never good. Maybe there could be a section with the problems of the old site, so members can try to help (to an extent), making the new site function better, but remain for the people by the people.
It's a relief to see that my favorite site values it's members and their opinions. Even with an American corporation behind it. Hell yeah.
BTW, no offense to the people at IB that are working to fix everything. Just the greedy capitalists behind the google ads...
