Default 2000 Pontiac Firebird Trans am 6 speed NEEDS WORK, $3900 ( MA )

Year: 2000
Make: Pontiac
Model: Trans Am
Price: $3900
Mileage: 117000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): MA
Color: Beige
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive
LS Engine?: Car has LS engine

Needs some Work to be Roadworthy

116k Miles
6 speed Manual transmission
5.7L Ls1 Engine
Leather Interior
T Tops
Cd player w/ 12 disc
Chrome wheels in great shape

This 2000 Firebird Trans Am runs but will need work to be roadworthy. Black exterior is in really nice shape with a few minor blemishes. Car spent most of its life in Georgia, there is no rust present. Leather interior in excellent shape for the year. Here is a few things that this Trans am will need:
Transmission is making a whining noise, most likely a throwout bearing, there is no grinding. Exhaust has a few leaks that will need to be repaired. EGR and rear o2 sensors need to be hooked up properly for emissions. Rear tires will need to be replaced. It is a solid starting point but needs work as price reflects that. Engine runs great. Has a Spec clutch and short throw shifter. Only $3900. I don't have time to sort the problems out. NO TRADES. 508-744-6712.

I will get a video up in the next few days of the car running.

car is clear title, not salvage. phone number 508-744-6712.

I probably would not drive the car to GA.

Tranny is whining, not sure what it is. It will go into all gears, but it will probably need to be pulled and gone thru.

Any chance it's the rearend? That would seem more likely as the T56 holds up pretty well compared to the rearend on 4th gens.
