I just bought this from a member here on Tech. Here's the thread:

98 z/28 modded roller sold

My plans have changed due to unexpected, non-financial, reasons and this isn't a must-sell so please no low ball offers.

I had a full moly 10 point put in by Steve Silver with window net and Kirkey Pro-Drag seat. Cage is interesting. The top of the cage is pushed all the way up as far as it can go into the t-tops. The t-top lever was customized to clear. Also, we went a bit overboard and integrated full rocker bars to the cage. There are no swingouts. This was designed for safety.

I had a removable tow eye installed in the front bumper for easy winching.

Gutted all HVAC from behind the dash. All wiring harnesses tied off. Full interior reinstalled but no OEM front driver seat. I do have the passenger seat sitting in a warehouse.

Everything works in the car. All harnesses are there & no wiring cut. Only the driveline & brakes were removed. PCM, pedals, console, radiator, even the washer bottle is in there. Previous owner had the car painted 2009 Corvette Atomic Orange including into the door jambs & wheel wells. Matte black engine bay. Really nice job. That's what I liked about this car. Great job & very well done.

Complete roller ready for transplant. No part outs. Even though it's worth more in parts this is a race ready car. All the hard work is done.

All parts in the car below were installed or included by the previous owner and are new/unused unless noted:

It seems like the car has less with the exception of the cage & Kirkey than it did when the original seller sold it for much less??

I only bought the car. Everything the original seller had in that ad is in the car. If you read that ad you'll see he wanted $4,000 for the roller.

I bought the below for 4,300.00 (not "much less"):
Need to sell 98 z fresh paint 09 gm orange (corvette) paint is real nice all door jams are done. Grey interior is real nice (cloth seats) no rips scrapes etc. T-top car. All the factory wiring harnesses are still in the car. 9 inch rear locker and 33 spline axles,wilwood disc brakes. All tubular bmr front end with adjustable struts. New bmr adj.torque arm and relocation mount trans cross member,........Brand new in the box greg weld drag wheels 15x3.5 and 15x10 no tires mounted on them. .....

The following was not included and I did not buy them:
....hooker ceramic headers. .....Also to go with the car a 6.0 iron short block (stock) a pair of 317 heads, a 4l80e trans, new slp line lock, and the rest of the little things in the garage. I have way more invested than i will ever get back but a back injury forces me to sell the car. Looking for $5500 for everything. At this time i dont want to part anything out. I am located in south jersey. Can send more pics to a serious buyer.


So your point of "less than" is not accurate. I have included everything in the post. With exception of the wilwood disc brakes that WERE NOT on the car I am 100% passing it along. Also, something else you might assume, but would be wrong, I installed some of what he listed that were off the car.

10 point, net, kirkey, etc cost me as much as the car. Do you know how much moly 10 points cost? If you did then you'd realize I'm not making anything on the sale. Do the math.
