1987 GMC S15 4x4.
Truck has a reman 2.8 and auto trans. Has hedman LT headers. truck itself has around 175k i belive.
interior is pretty much gutted except for the seat and a cable shifter. no carpet, exc.
I did all the fabrication and suspension building by hand.
dana 35 rear axle welded. 4.10 gears, smoothed housing, welded tubes. closed backing plates.
Dana 30 front axle, welded, 4.10 gears, with a passanger side disconect like a stock jeep but hand operated instead of vaccum. have to keep it unlocked to turn at all. If i were gonna keep it the only thing i would do would be a crossover steering setup or hyd. steering. drive fine as is though.
Has 33.12.50/15 tires on it about 30% tread but ive never had this thing stuck other than having it high centered. It is a beast you can take anywhere you want.
I have a clean clear title and all the lights and parts to make it street legal. i have driven it 60mph down the highway and the only thing i would do is put shocks and a steering stabalizer on it. and you could daily drive it.
Ive had the truck to the badlands in attica and beat it all day and never had an issue. I did just put a new hevy duty drive front axle shaft assembly in it.
Just a trail toy for me and something i can go back to my woods with.
Any questions just ask, i can get you more pics or more info if you need it.
Thanks for looking
