Make: Chevrolet
Model: Camaro
Price: $10000
Mileage: 80000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): CA

LS Engine?: Car has LS engine

For sale is a:

2001 Camaro SS M6
Arctic White
80k miles

I have owned the car since 2005 when I purchased it bone stock from the original owner in Texas with about 50,000 miles and have cared for it since.

I am selling this car simply because it is time to move on. I have new priorities in life and don't feel that I am capable of giving this vehicle the devotion and care it deserves. It has treated me well and I have returned the favor, but it is time to hand over the keys.

Clean title in hand. SLP sticker has faded but still indicates that it is, indeed, a true SS. The car has not been in any wrecks. I have done all of the maintenance and modifications myself apart from the welding.

Driven regularly for a few years, but has recently been sitting curbside.

Interior:
Includes power leather seats, Monsoon CD player with 12 CD changer, power windows, power locks, tinted windows and t-tops. Driver’s seat has recently been re-upholstered. Shortly after which, unfortunately, the seatbelt guide broke. The passenger and rear seats are all in good condition. Minor coffee stains underneath seats from when I purchased the vehicle. Dash and steering wheel leather all in great condition. Shift light included.

The internals are all stock. Regular oil changes with Mobil1. Transmission was serviced some time ago with the factory clutch still holding strong. Factory 10 bolt was serviced in 2006 by a dealership after the gears chewed themselves up. Since then, I have had no problems whatsoever from the rear end.

Exterior:
Besides the berger panel and grille, the paint is from the factory and is in fairly good condition, apart from minor dings and a blemish on the front fender. 17” silver 10 spoke wheels on BFGoodrich Super Sport A/S 275/40R17 tires with good amount of tread remaining. Replaced the original rotors with Brembo blanks and added Hawk HPS pads two years ago.

Other modifications include:
Whisper lid w/ K&N filter
Self-ported & polished throttle body
Pacesetter long tubes
TSP Y-pipe with front O2 sensors and cats
Hooker cat-back exhaust
Prothane transmission mount
Koni 4/3 (~2,000 miles) on stock springs
UMI panhard bar
UMI subframe connectors
PRO 5.0 short throw
Skip-shift eliminator
MSD wires with NGK plugs
Corsa clone exhaust tips
White gauges with bezel

This car rides stiff, but handles well. It will take to the hills and twisties like a natural. It has more than enough power, but no dyno numbers. No visits to the track either.

This vehicle is registered in Texas, where it passes inspection. The AIR and EGR are still on the car. I do not have the original exhaust manifolds.

More photos can be viewed here

I am asking $9,500 OBO.

You sure it won't pass smog? I'm in Long Beach and I've opened this thread a few times now and gotten excited when I see that you're in LA. Then I remember it's the same car I've seen before.
