Default 2004 Gto M6

Year: 2004
Make: Pontiac
Model: GTO
Price: $7500
Mileage: 85000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): RI
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive
LS Engine?: Car has LS engine

I have a 2004 Pontiac gto for sale, it is a six speed car. It has a salvage title but is almost all fixed, I drove this car everyday for the last 2 weeks without any problems at all. It was hit in the passenger side quarter panel, no frame damage was done and I do have before and after pics of the car. It still needs a little to be perfect but can be driven now. It has 85,000 miles and is all stock. I bought the car in Virginia and had the quarter panel replaced with a gm factory replacement quarter panel. All the body lines match up perfectly on this car, once repainted you would never know it was hit. The rear window needs to be put in, glass is good but missing two trim pieces and the interior needs reassembly as the rear seat and headliner was taken out to do the rear quarter panel. I will have the seat in as soon as it stops raining. Everything works and the car tracks down the road perfectly straight. It does need an alignment, steering wheel is crooked. I am asking 7500 obo. Email is the best way to get back to me though I will check this thread daily. Any questions you have just ask, I have been perfectly honest and will continue to be. I expect some criticism for selling a salvage car but please keep it constructive. I came by my price after finding a few salvage cars that were still wrecked but if you think it's too high let me know. The first picture is of the damage, the trunk is open in the picture. The rest were taken about an hour ago at my work. Thank you.

Did some work on the car this weekend. Rear window, headliner are installed and the interior is all in. If it doesn't sell soon I will send it to the body shop to be painted and then the price will go up or I will keep it and start modding it. Thanks.

Gto is still for sale. I leave Friday morning for Ft. Indiantown Gap in Pa for two weeks. If somebody wants it before then I am more negotiable.

You are positive there was no frame damage? I find it hard to believe an insurance company would total that car with that kind of damage unless the frame was bent.

I am positive there was no frame damage, it's been on two frame machines. I did some research and looks like gto's are salvaged very easily because of the price of parts. The new rear quarter cost $600 and then labor on top, the hood has the dent in it and i'm sure the body shop said to replace it rather than fix and it's missing a grill. Add the new rear quarter, new hood, labor for install and painting the two and the body shop probably had a huge quote to the insurance company. I also wonder if the previous owner fought to have it salvaged because according to the carfax a few months went by from time of accident until the car was declared salvage.

It went back to the bodyshop to be painted. They didn't do a great job, you can tell it has been painted but looks better than the primer.
