2001 honda s2000 ls1/t56
Year: 2001
Make: Honda
Model: S2000
Price: $16000
Mileage: 76000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): CO
Color: Silver
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive
LS Engine?: Car has LS engine
The car has a ls1/t56 swapped in. It is mounted with a motor plate which is solidly mounted but the tranny is mounted with a trans mount on a custom tranny x-member. The steering rack was changed to a flaming river rack to allow for the crank pully to clear while still leaving the motor low in the car. (oil pan clearance is not an issue with speed bumps. The wiring is a stand alone harness and the OBDII does work. The car has a heater, but no AC PC or ABS. As far as brakes go its running stainless lines from the wilwood proportioning valve for the front, but the back is still hard lines. The fuel system consists of a walbro 255 with an aeromotive fuel pressure regulator. All of the gauges are autometers and a dakota digital box was used to calibrate the speedo. The exhaust is setup using block hugger headers into 2.5 inch piping into a s2000 catback so and aftermarket catback will bolt up. The motor is a stock ls1 form a 98 trans-am with around 42k on it, the t56 was brand new when installed along with a spec stage 2 clutch, new slave and wilwood master cylinder. The car is sitting on 17x8 rota g-force's with street tires, the suspension is stock s2000.
These were all put on/in 1 week ago
-carpet
-center console cover
-top
-wheels and tires
Things the car could use
- Door ding on the drivers door touched up (chipped the paint)
- Dyno tune (its running the stock camaro tune which works fine but a detailed tune would open a lot more power)
- I have new exhaust gaskets that I keep meaning to put it, the old ones started to leak, obviously those will be included with the sale.
- A new cd player, the head unit in it only works occasionally its a old low end pioneer
Included with the car will come all the abs and AC stuff, I can even include the stock steering rack if you decided to switch back to that.
I'm positive I'm forgetting stuff, but ask questions if you are interested. As far as trades go, I'm really looking to get cash, but if it is something closer to stock that would be easier to sell I would be up for a trade if it is a decent deal for me (I will not trade for a $5,000 unless there is a lot of cash on top)
Onto the pics, I will take a video of the car when I can actually get the car out of the garage since we just got a lot of snow here in fort collins colorado.
These next pics show blemishes of the car

I really cant, whatever I get in a trade would need to be easy to sell or a awd or 4x4 and that doesnt seem like an easy car to sell man, but if there is enough cash on top I would at least thing about it. Pm me a number you have in mind.

Looks like you're right off Elizabeth
Wish I had the money right now, maybe if its still around in a few months I can take it off your hands. Good luck with the sale.
