I bought the car early 2009. Ran great never had any issues. The motor blew on the car at 125k miles and I had the motor rebuilt by a guy in San Diego who specializes in Corvette motors and small block race motors.
Put a stage one clutch rated up to 500HP!
New polyurethane Trans mount.
At the same time as I replaced the motor I put a new water pump and new OPTISPARK Distributor.
I also had the intake ported to let the car breathe more.
Has upgraded aluminum heads on the car with custom machine work done.
The motor has all forged internals it was fully balanced and blue printed. I have only put maybe 3 or 4 thousand miles on the car since the rebuild. The motor was broken in correctly with no racing or hard driving during the break in process.
This car has never been to the track. Should expect to run low to mid 12's all day long tho.
Motor was built for 150 shot of nos OR up to 12lbs of boost. This car is ready for the track or to be a daily driver.
Currently the car has a system in it. 6 speakers two tweeters and 3 12 special edition autobahn subs with two amps, and a Touch Screen DVD player with back up camera hook up, aux port set up, and ipod hook up wired up.
The car will be smoged and ready to go.
The Bad: I will be honest about everything. I don't want to waste your time, or mine. I will be fixing these things over the next few month as I get the money. with each thing that I fix, there's less room to negotiated.
As of this moment the computer still needs to be fine tuned for the new motor. It's not running bad or anything too bad, just not at full potential.
The steering wheel is not street legal.
The car needs ether a cold air intake or make shift (I wouldn't make shift anything tho. Everything has been done right!) in order to let the car breathe correctly from the intake and heads the car has.
The driver front rim has a chip of chrome broken off. (See Pic)
Driver window is off the track but doesn't leak any water.
Passenger window is getting just a little bit slow.
The rear bumper has a few places where the paint is cracked.
There are a few spots where the headliner is coming loose around the T-Tops. Does not leak any water!
I am open to offers on the car, do not insult me. No joy riders, must come ready to buy or with an already approved trade, and you must be able to handle the power. This car isn't for everyone.
I AM OPEN TO TRADES. NO TRASH. MAYBE A STOCK HONDA OR LITTLE COMMUTER CAR LIKE A GEO PLUS CASH. BUT IF IT'S GOING TO BE A LITTLE COMMUTER CAR I WILL WANT AT LEAST 5500 CASH PLUS COMMUTER CAR. FOR A OUT RIGHT TRADE IT WOULD NEED TO BE WORTH MY WHILE. CLEAN SUV/TRUCK/LUXURY CAR OR CAR WITH ALL THE OPTIONS. LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE.
