LS Engine?: Car has other engine

You are viewing my 1997 Chevrolet Camaro SS #2575. This Camaro has been extremely well cared for through its entire life. It has not been in any type of accident and it has never had any type of paintwork. This car is as clean underneath as it is on top. I am very meticulous how I keep my cars and this one is no exception. It has been clay bared many times and has had some of the best products on the market used to polish and wax it. All the routine maintenance has been preformed through its entire life with oil changes being preformed twice a year as the mileage never accumulated very quickly. I think the backseat has been sat in twice!! This Camaro has seen an average of 1360 miles per year and it shows. I have all the documentation that came with the car from the factory. I recently had the battery, fuel filter and all the oils changed. I put new Nitto NT05 275/40/ZR17 tires on all four corners two weeks ago, there is not 30 miles on them.

There are a few tasteful modifications that I have done to the car. These modifications have less then 200 miles on them.

SLP Loudmouth Exhaust with 4” polished tips
K&N drop in air filter
Hid headlights and fog lights (for better visibility at night)

SLP base SS alteration package:
Lighweight Composite hood and functional cold air induction
Performance air induction featuring a high flow ac filter
Rear decklid spoiler
17”X9” ZR1 style cast aluminum wheels
275/40/ZR17 BFGoodrich Comp T/A Tires
Larger front anti-sway bar and revised rear track
Quaker State Synquest synthetic engine oil
Commemorative Camaro SS plaque
Three dimensional graphics
Camaro SS key fobs

SLP Options added from the factory
Optional performance exhaust system
Optional torsen torque sensing limited slip differential with aluminum cover
Optional Hurst performance shifter
Optional SS front floor mats
Optional Sebring Silver metallic exterior color

Total in SLP options $6,244.00
1997 Camaro SS MSRP $24,915.00

Total Sticker price $31,159.00

8k right.... I don't remember asking for your opinion or stating I need to move the car fast. Thanks for your input though. This car is not your everyday run of the mill hacked up Camaro. It is immaculate and there are people out there who will recognize that and pay the money for this car.
Next time please keep your comments to pm's unless it refers to selling or buying this car.

Thanks,
HP

Amazing that a 14 year old car can look like it just drove off the showroom floor. Beautiful SS.

That is a BEAUTIFUL car! And, I bet you will get near your asking price. Contrary to the LT1 haters on this board, these 96-97 low mile SS's are still bringing really good money. You don't have to be a member of MENSA to search a little and see what these cars have recently SOLD for (ie, not just an asking price). I've seen a couple 97 SS's in the past 6 weeks sell for over $10k and they had more miles (40-50k). Not only that, the silver and white SS's are bringing the most money right now since most of these LT1 SS cars are red or black.

I had an offer on my 97 SS for $12k a few months ago and I turned it down

Great car!!!

What exhaust was on this car before you put the loudmouth on? The TOTL or Dual/Dual?

Awesome car, I think I had a small crisis. But if it we're a hard top I'd be plotting the sale of my SS for it lol.
