Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): PA
Color: Black

LS Engine?: Car has LS engine

Hey guys, I'm posting my 2002 Camaro SS up for sale. This is a well documented car, I have all of the original paperwork from the Dealer where it was bought new, along with all of the receipts for the parts currently on the car. Heck, I even have paperwork for the defective washer nozzles that were replaced with 100 miles on the car. Like most cars 9 years old, you're not about to look at a perfect car, but it is a very clean example. I'm interested in starting another project so after owning this car for 3 years it is possibly time to move on...or make it faster.

I am located in the suburbs of Philadelphia.

The Car:
-2002 Black Camaro SS.
-Odometer reads 78K.
-Paint is in good shape, a few swirl marks here and there.
-Car was professionally detailed a month ago.
-Silver painted hood scoop by Classic Coach Works in West Chester PA.
-Freshly tinted windows, 15% front and rear.
-Driver seat left side bolster is worn like most leather cars out there.
-The carpet is a little rough, but looks nice, one small hole by the gas pedal.
-It is currently missing the gauge cluster bezel and the ash tray lid.
-Car was never in any accidents.

The Motor:
-Built by Race Proven Motorsports.
-Forged 347 LS1.
-Stock crank.
-Eagle rods.
-Diamond pistons.
-236/236 custom ground cam.
-5.3 CNC'd heads.
-ARP head bolt kit, GM head gaskets.
-Under drive pulleys.
-Brand new serpentine belt, zero miles on it literally lol.
-LS6 intake.
-SLP lid.
-New GM timing chain.
-Comp OEM style lifters.
-LS6 oil pump.

Exhaust:
-Kooks headers.
-Kooks SS ORY.
-Magnaflow cat back.
-New Bosch O2 sensors.

Trasmission/Rear:
-Built MN6 stage 4 T-56, with brass sliders.
-Spec Super Twin Disc clutch, carbon/graphite.
-02 GM slave cylinder, has 250 miles on it.
-McCleod adjustable master cylinder.
-Hurst shifter.
-Moser 12 bolt.
-Eaton 4.10 gears.
-PST aluminum drive shaft.

Suspension:
-BMR extreme duty torque arm.
-BMR pan hard bar.
-BMR sub frame connectors.
-BMR rear lower control arms.
-QA1 12 way adjustable coil overs on the front with 275lb. springs and new mounts.
-QA1 rear drag shocks, 12 way adjustable.

ICE:
-JL Audio 10'' hidden sub.
-Polk Audio 4 channel amp.
-JVC headunit.
-Polk Audio front and rear speakers, rear speakers are channeled along with the sub.
-Factory speakers in the sail panels.

Appearance:
-C-West front grille.
-NEW headlight assemblies, old ones started to haze.
-NEW clear side markers.

Nitrous/Fuel:
-NX wet kit, 10lb. bottle located in spare tire well.
-Single nozzle, lines are rated for 150hp, never saw the 250 jets.
-Car has a bottle heater and a purge, switches are in the center glove box.
-Autometer N20 pressure gauge also mounted in the center glove box.
-Window switch.
-36LB. Injectors.
-Racetronix fuel pump.
-Factory fuel rails.

Wheels/Tires/Brakes:
-Front and rear SSBC slotted/cross drilled/zinc plated rotors with about 300 miles on them.
-Fresh HAWK carbon ceramic pads, also 300 miles on those.
-Billet specialties front and rear, I bought these brand new and they've been on the car for 300 miles. They are 15x10 in the rear.
-M&H skinnies, with M&H 275/60/15 (28'') drag radials on the rear.
-The rear tires have four burnouts on them, no track time.

Additionals:
-Wolfe 6pt. mild steel weld in cage. No swing outs, non-removable cross bar. Rear through speaker style.

1/4 Mile times:
-The only time I ran the car on motor it went 12.0 @ 118, that was on Goodyear Eagle street tires, before all of the suspension work and fuel system were done. At the time the car made 422WHP.
-The best pass on the 150 shot was 10.80 @ 128, this was before the drag pack and QA1's. It had the factory SS wheels up front and a 16'' Hoosier out back. The car on the 150 shot made 571WHP.

The Bad:
-Last month the car picked up a slight bottom end noise, though I am not a mechanic I took a stethoscope to the oil pan and I believe I hear a noise coming from the cylinder 1 area. Also has a random rotational grind noise unrelated to gear selection. Trans out and rear taken apart less than 500 miles ago so both were said to be in great shape. Unsure of issue, possible U-Joint? I haven't driven the car since the noises developed as I'd like to save the bottom end. I would like to sell the car as is, and if it doesn't sell ultimately I'll put a different bottom end in the car and possibly go FI with it as the rest of the car is built for the test. This car is solid and once properly diagnosed/repaired it will be a menacing street car once again. With the suspension and tires this car has no problem hooking first gear on the street nitrous or not, I don't want to sell it but I'm interested in another project and cannot afford a third car so one must go...and my Trailblazer is just too good of a daily haha.

Please PM me with any questions, I'm not sure what I should realistically ask for the car as is so I'm posting an asking price of $8,000. The car could be driven and can be started for anyone interested. I will not post a video of it running because I do not own anything capable of taking a decent video and it is hard to hear the noise over the cam. Thank you!

Sorry man, I'm not looking to part anything out. If the whole car doesn't sell I will be replacing the bearings and going FI.

Bump.

Croman - It has the same compression as a C5 Z06, I will be posting current interior shots tomorrow or Monday.

'01 WS6 6.0 - I have no where to pull the motor out, if the car goes, the motor must go with it, sorry.

94 S Dime - Like I stated above, I'm unsure what to price the car at. PM me if you'd like to talk numbers, I'm flexible.

Any other questions PM me or post them here.

Okay well one more time for you, unfortunately I don't have the time, tools, ability, or space to pull this motor out of the car where I'm currently at or I'd consider it. So unless you want to buy it, and pull the thing yourself, I'm not sure what else I can tell you. At least you could part the rest of the motor out if you decide you're going to do it.
