Default 3000GT VR4 61k miles built

Year: 1992
Make: Mitsubishi
Model: 3000GT
Price: $10000
Mileage: 61000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): PA
Color: Red
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: 4WD & AWD
LS Engine?: Car has other engine

Hey guys, up for trade here I have a 92 moroccan red 3000gt vr4. Before you email, please read the WHOLE AD.

Here are the details...

NEAR PITTSBURGH PA

Clean PA title in my hand
Inspected until january next year
61xxx original miles, no, not a typo. It will go up but not drastically.
Black leather interior, full power everything with power sunroof
I'm the third owner, and its never left PA
bought it from a friend, and it was bone stock when I got it....

here are the light mods it has. It also comes with the stock parts.

Foglights stay on with parking lights and high beams (3k yellow HIDS)
Hks ssqv3 bov
Test pipe
Short shifter
Short ram intake
Chrome Y pipe
Custom flowmaster exhaust
Black glow gauges
Kenwood double din touch screen
Free boost mod (runs 15 lbs)
I have reciepts from the previous owner for 3100 dollars worth of work done...
It had a steel crank put in and the lower internals reinforced. I still have the stock crank.

This car really isn't a joke... it has no rips in the leather at all, no major dents or scratches. It even has the original tape deck and cd player included. The four wheel steering works, the active aero works, the active exhaust works, and its still on its factory wheels (which are slightly anodized).

Few mentionable things are that the wings clearcoats faded (only spot on car) the defroster vents are cracked (they alllllll do in these cars), there are no floormats, and the fancy spark plug cover was never there...

It has brand new tires though! You will be hard pressed to find one of these in this unbelievable condition... I actually feel like I'm doing it a dishonor when I drive it. It shifts every gear smooth and its a rocket.

Email me at yeeaaboyyy1369@yahoo.com and ill respond immediately.

I WILL ONLY TRADE FOR MANUALS. NO AUTOMATICS!!!

once again, email is yeeaaboyyy1369@yahoo.com

no automatics. thanks!

forged lower internals. steel crank. 3100 dollars worth of "building" right there. it can handle ALOT more than the stock turbos can throw at it, and its setup for a big turbo build.

I'd like to know this also. And several other questions:
1. Any grinding on high rpm shifts?Nevermind. Answered in post.
2. Any valve train noise from lash adjusters(easpecially on cold start).
3. Any smoke on start-up?
4. You list "active exhuast works" and list "custom flowmaster exhaust".
Is this a mistake or did you plumb the flowmasters in with the oem
active exhaust still functional?
5. 18 or 25 spline output shaft? They had both in '92.
6. Any accidents?/All vin #'s present?
Very sharp looking VR4.
Thanks
Wayne

WayneCar, i just replied to your email. for everyone else wondering, ill TRY to check this site daily. i have it on various forums but not craigslist, so i try to check each one at a different time of day. ive gotten a few emails, for very different cars, but noone off of ls1 yet....

to answer his questions,

1. answered lol
2. not at all. its quiet as a mouse.
3. no sir.
4. actually, i have the flowmaster waiting to go on, but im too lazy to get around to it. so the active exhaust does work, but it SHOULD have a dual flowmaster 40 series on it here soon lol
5. i honestly could not tell you. im sorry...
6. clean title, no accidents, all vins are present and it can be given upon request.

thanks guys!

Bump for a clean 3S with good upgrades.

I've owned six of these cars in various states of tune from stock to 500+whp and I firmly believe a car like this one with basic bolt-ons is the perfect combo for power/reliability. I would guess that if the lower end has been rebuilt that it probably spun a bearing at some point (common) but if it's had the forged crank installed it should be good to go from this point forward.

Do you have a cash amount you'd take for the car, or are you looking for trades only?

thanks alot streetside1! im really only looking for trades, and i have a pending one for an 01 SS right now!

and to mcnasty, hey bud.... READ THE POST. i NEVER wanted to sell. i only want to trade. most forums require a price so i put 10k because i DONT want anyone to BUY it. i just want trade offers... and i found the one im probably going with.... i guess thanks for the bump though, lol.

back to the subject, i thought the same thing as streetside, but ive never been able to confirm that... but i definitely had the same guess that it spun a bearing. im only the third owner, but the second owner did the work on it back in january at a shop.
