Well guys it kind of pains me to do this, but I'm listing my 1985 C4 Corvette for sale. It's time for me to have just one project. My blood isn't rich enough to let me do EVERYTHING that I want to do just yet.

I bought this car off of here not too long ago. I was looking for any type of LS1 powered vehicle. The one thing that I did not want to deal with was the 7.5'' 10-bolt POS rear end that the General put underneath our beloved 4th gen F-bodies. With that said, GM did not make a similar mistake with their flagship performance car from the mid-80s. Underneath is a factory Dana 44 with a limited-slip and super long 3.07 gears. With the LS1 powering this Miami Vice-mobile, there is plenty of motivation being sent to those gears to get this car into the high 12 second range in my opinion. From the factory, this car weighed in at 3244 lbs. With the all-aluminum LS1 we all know and love so dearly, this car should weigh in somewhere in the 3150 lb. range. With the ZF 6 speed transmission (sourced from an 89' C4) cruising on the highway yields gas mileage that makes Prius drivers envious. Cruising at 75 mph requires a mere 1400 rpm when the 6th cog is chosen.

Outside, the car sports a fresh coat of black paint that will surely impress the ladies in your area. A set of black C5 Z06 wheels completes the look.

Inside, you get the optional red leather interior. You also get the infamous digital dash. With the help of a Dakota Digital box, the gauges work in harmony with the decade+ younger powerplant. However, the instant MPG gauge does not. I assume it simply cannot handle the uber-efficiency of the Gen III power, as it stays at 99 mpg. Luckily, with a flick of a switch, the gas mileage disappears so you don't have to stare at it constantly. Also, the voltmeter reads wacky sometimes, saying the car is making 16-17 volts. I assure you that it is not, as I have tested it many times.

The car also has a set of KYB shocks. In conjunction with the Z51 handling package and the fresh BFGoodrich KDW rubber on all four corners, you have a car poised to take on the twistiest of twisty roads.

Additionally, all the accessories in this car are functioning. That means heat, a/c, and cruise control. The a/c could use a recharging, and the car could probably use a new blower motor, but everything is in place and functioning.

If that was too long, here's a short list of pros and cons:

Pros:
-LS1 powa
-Smooth shifting ZF 6 speed
-Stout Dana 44 rear end purported to handle up to 650 rwhp in stock form
-Great fuel mileage

Cons:
-Voltmeter has a mind of its own
-Could use a couple of door seals
-Needs new console cover
-Stock C4 exhaust w/ muffler delete = Too quiet for me.

The car has less than 3k miles on the clutch and brakes. Fresh transmission fluid, fresh oil, new O2 sensors, cleaned MAF and air filter.

For contact, feel free to PM me, or to text/call at (270)320-4122. My name is Alex.

Thanks and thanks. Once I get the motor back together in the GC I'll really enjoy it. Bought it for a grand with a knocking motor. Typical EJ25.

I'd love to have a Leggy GT. This is my fifth Subie, my first was an RSTi, by far the most fun car I've ever owned. Only one I've ever regretted selling too.
