Default Boat for Sale: 1996 VIP Vindicator

Year: 1996
Make: Mercury
Model: Mariner
Price: $10900
Mileage: 1
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): IL
Color: Red

This boat is in great condition for it's age. Always kept in dry stack or stored indoors during the winter months. It has always been maintained properly and is very reliable. It is powered by a Mercruiser 5.7 L with through hull exhaust which has propelled it to a best of 65 mph on GPS. It has a nice stereo with a JL audio 10" subwoofer and amp. The rest of the midrange speakers are Rockford Fosgate. I just installed a new Kenwood in-dash this spring that is ipod compatible and also has auxilary inputs. It has 2 new batteries along with new battery boxes and a new Perko switch so you can run the stereo all day and not have to worry about being stranded. It has a decent cuddy area for a 20ft boat. The trailer is in pretty good shape with recent tires and bearings. The taillights were recently upgraded to LEDs.

The only reason I am selling it is to get something bigger. I have no problem running this another season. I have both titles for the boat and trailer clean and clear. SOLD!!!!!!

Yep...looking to upgrade to something that I can take to Lake of the Ozarks on a busy summer weekend and not be killed on.

What did you get exactly? What all does it need?

Yeah you def need something larger for down there on busy wkds..we went down for the shootout again on a buddy's 33 ft Donzi ZX and its still rough at times. Its a 92 206 Captiva with a 5.0..Exterior is in good shape but needs a complete interior overhaul..I'll text ya a pic

Sweet...we went down to the shootout again this year on our buddy's 42 Fountain and that got rough as hell after they called it for rain. Everybody was hauling *** to get out of the rain. It was AWESOME!! lol

Is the floor solid at least? A little vinyl work isnt that bad. That will make a perfect boat to fly up and down the river on. If I didn't want something to handle some bigger water, I would keep this one.

Nope, there is not an hour meter. Judging by the condition alone, I assume the hours are fairly low.

Just got the bill for my big block rebuild. I can't wait to get out this season! I'm rocking a 25.5 now and hoping to upgrade to a 32' later. GLWTS
