**2001 Sunset Orange Metallic Formula Firehawk (1 of 24) - Low Miles**
Year: 2001
Make: Pontiac
Model: Firebird
Price: $16500
Mileage: 47244
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): MO
Color: Orange
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive
Only 24 Formula Firehawks were built in Sunset Orange Metallic. 4 were built in 2001; 20 were built in 2002.
I am only the second owner of this car. I am located in Saint Louis, MO. The original owner owned the car since new and drove it approximately 27,000 miles. I have put about 20,000 trouble-free miles on the car. The car has been well maintained and never abused. There are very minimal and tasteful modifications including the following:
(all stock pieces included in sale)
-WS6store short stick
-Lid
-4.10 gears (a necessity for any manual transmission F-Body)
-Hand-held tuner
-Weld-in subframe connectors
-Exhaust cutout (sounds great, plate can be applied if sound is too loud)
-Lowered
-Panhard bar
-Lower control arms
-In-dash cd/DVD/iPod player (the original radio will be included - I sent it off to have the iPod mod done, but the guy messed it up, so the CD player does not work)
-Painted and cleared engine bay with hidden wires, head plate, etc (will show in pics) - I have received many compliments on this
-20% tint all the way around
SLP options:
-Floor mats (never used)
-Chrome wheels (all in great shape)
-Commemorative documents
-Car cover
Other items included:
-Bra
-Blackout rear panel (where Firebird logo is located)
Other items I can include from my previous Trans Am (for the right price, or if interested):
-Set of stock heads (27,xxx miles)
-LS6 intake manifold
-Shift light (never installed)
The car is in great shape. It does have minor rock chips from normal driving. The door panels have been modded so they will never get the dreaded crack. The windows work perfectly. I would not hesitate a moment to drive this car anywhere in the country.
The bad- The sail panels do have a bit of bubbling happening, but it is minor. I will do my best to show this in the pictures. The front windshield is cracked at the top. I haven't repaired it because it isn't terribly noticeable as it is cracked in the sunstrip. I will include this in the pictures as well.
I hate to get rid of this car (and my 1996 Suburban), but my wife is pregnant, and we need a more family-friendly car, otherwise this would not be a consideration.
The price is $16,500 due to the low miles, great shape, and rare nature of the car. There is some wiggle-room, but not much.
The miles will not change much (if at all), as this is not my daily driver.

Thank you so much! It kills me to sell it, but with a baby on the way and living on a teacher's salary, something has to give. This is my third F-Body, and it is by far the most beautiful I have owned.

Picked up the Firehawk on Saturday. Car was nicer than I had hoped. I feel for the seller as he really did not want to part with the car. At least it went to a good home and my 4 year old already wants to take it everywhere.
