2002 Pontiac Formula SOM 6 Speed - Kooks True Duals
Year: 2002
Make: Pontiac
Model: Firebird
Price: $9100
Mileage: 96000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): ME
Color: Orange
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive
LS Engine?: Car has LS engine
As the car sits, the paint is gorgeous (what did you expect, it is SOM), however there are two trouble spots. There is a little bubble right in the nose of the hood and the clear on the spoiler is peeling just a bit. I would say the paint is 8/10 and the interior is 9/10 (no qualms with the interior, other than the cloth seats just aren’t too appealing, but keep reading I can solve that problem for you).
I also have a set of 6LE black leather seats with orange stitching (had the stitching dyed to match the car) and the seat brackets for the Fbody cars. I do have a set of the chrome C5 DD wheels (17/18 deep dish combo) sitting in my garage with brand new Continental tires. Both the seats and wheels/tires are not yet installed and waiting for the buyer of the car or if someone wants just the car I will sell those separately.
As you can see I purchased the absolute best for this car and had plans for cam/heads and wanted that reliable, low 12 second daily driver car. I have to move closer to (or into) the city and cannot take this car with me, I have to take my daily driver with me instead.
I am looking for $9100 with the mods installed and we could negotiate on the additional mods (Seats and the wheels/tire combo). I think the car alone is worth $7600-8200 and with the $2,300+ in exhaust mods alone, the price is very fair. Car is located in Southern, Maine (Kittery). I am about 45 Minutes north of Boston and maybe 40 minutes South of Portland, Maine. Car drives like stock (except of course the power and volume increase). I promise that if you haven’t heard a true dual setup on this engine before, you will never want a single exhaust setup again. I have tons of ground clearance and have never scraped or hit anything with the exhaust and no matter what I do with the car, you cannot lose power with this exhaust.
You can reply or PM here, but I would prefer a phone call. Someone who is truly interested can give me a ring during normal hours (9am-10pm) or a text to get things started. I may not pickup as I work quite a bit, but I will get back to you. My phone number is: 207- six four one – 5441. I had the car up for sale on Craiglist, but just had a bunch of idiots who wanted to hear the exhaust and throw out figures like $5,000 for the car.
I will post more pics in a bit and hope to have some videos of the car up on Youtube for everyone to see by the end of the day.

How has no one bought this car???
Kooks true duals, founders rear suspension, SOM, and it is a 6 speed!! For $1,000 you could have a WS6 or other hood painted and installed....car would be insane (and what I may do if it doesnt sell).
Did I mention the MGW shifter with the $80 mustang ****, and a Frost tune??
AIR was deleted as well. AC may need a re-charge, isn't too cold.
