This is an excellent street/strip car. I would recommend a full exhaust for more street use.
Last year I had it up for sale as the engine spun a bearing. I have now had a new engine built and many improvements as well most importantly upgrading the F1A to a F1R. This engine is fresh less than 100 miles and a few trips to the track.
Right now in hot weather she's running a best time of 5.79 @ 120.1 mph in the 1/8 mile. When I first finished the build the car was making about 840 on the dyno and running about 114-115mph in the 1/8 it was cold. Now we are up to 120mph with some more boost so I think it's north of 900hp at this point.
Some of the recent work in addition to the new engine.
The a/c and heat has been deleted although I have all the parts and will include with car. Factory carpet has been replaced with lightweight racing carpet. Two Corbeau racing seats and racing harness for the driver are installed. I have the black leather front and back seats as well (power driver) that I will include. These are not original 1999 interior it was was originally beige but black leather was scavenged off another vehicle. The leather is immaculate. Relocated battery to trun and installed shutoff switch.
A full NHRA certified cage has been installed 10pt good to 8.50et in the 1/4 mile. All other NHRA safety equipment are installed.
The Radiator support was modified to move the radiator vertical and forward and allow room for the F1R and filter. In the pictures below a pro charger bell mouth is installed for street driving I have a very nice custom duel filter setup.
I also installed 2000cc HI injectors to make room for E85 which I am considering.
Current power levels require in my opinion quality race gas. I run entirely C16. However if I drove it on the street more I would take some timing out and reduce boost and 93 octane would be fine. I will include all my supercharger pulleys so you can adjust that.
Flatbed trailer also on the table depending on what we agree on.
I'm in Charlotte, NC my cell is 980-521-0157 call or text.
