LS Engine?: Car has LS engine

Hello to All,
Well after 17 yrs of TLC I am selling my garage kept and in pristine condition 98 Camaro SS-6 spd. It has just 66,000 miles and has about every performance upgrade you can do for a high performance street car. It has never been in accident and looks as good inside and outside as the day I bought it. The new LS2 402 Stroker engine was professionally designed and installed and has just over 2k miles on it including break-in mileage of 1k. I am selling it as after 17 yrs of ownership there is nothing else to upgrade and would like to put my energies towards a C7 ZO6.
Listed below are the upgrades that have been done and I have all receipts since 1998 to prove it.

Hello to All,

Sorry but forgot to insert rear end gear & diff info, yes car has a 10-bolt but with upgraded 3.73 Motive gears and a Strange Eng diff cover.(Updated Car Info list)

Car has neck snapping pick-up but also great long highway legs since 6th is such a tall gear. Cruising 70-75 mph and keeping a light right foot car will pull down 20+ MPG on highway. Gets 14-16 mpg around local area.

Default i dont think so

ls1s make 430 plus with decent head/cam packages. i feel ls2 with nice head/cam is very capable of 500 to the wheels. esspecially when everything works efficiantly togather.

Hello to All,

Yes have Dyno sheet and #'s are real and will probably get even better as engine loosens up. The key to car is that everything does work very good together. That's the way it was designed as I asked same question when building motor and was assured that if we stay in certain parameters car will put down over 500 RWHP / 500 RWTQ as those were the targets and happy to say we exceeded them.

Many guys go by just cam #'s and big TB's and many times don't give enough thought to how will all the components work together. My car even though doesn't have a monster cam or a 102 mm intake or TB has great port velocity and fills up the cylinders in short order. So when you put right foot down it goes right here and right now.

After having a car for 17 yrs you get to know her and what makes her go kind of like a woman. And I am happy to say my car seems to like what we have done to her and has rewarded me with I'd say pretty good dyno #'s and even better every day drive-ability. If anybody wants to see for themselves they are welcome to go on a test drive with me at local SWFL Camaro Club- Tri-County Camaro's get together in Ft.Myers Beach this weekend (Saturday July 25 @ 7:30PM @ Zoomers in Ft.Myers Bch) and they can judge for themselves the power this car puts down to ground.

Default Ttt

11.1 compression is still within small boost reason. A small p1sc procharger would be **** on this set up,FAST 90/90s support a decent amount of hp . After a 12 bolt obviously/

Unfortunately video's of car 1st start up with new motor & dyno run I have exceeds the 4.77 MB limit set forth on site. And being an older guy (55) don't know how to link it to a web site for all to see.

But I have attached a few more pics of the engine parts used in build up and if someone e-mails me @ ssepx@comcast.net be happy to send video's via that way and then younger on line more tech savvy guys can figure it out.

Hello to All,

Added MNM Billet Catch Can & Red Top Optima Battery to list of Upgrades done.
In addition, I have other new and take-off parts I have accumulated over the years included with car. Example: Lou's short stick shifter (Didn't like the ultra low height) and round fact cue ball shifter. Will add items to list as I scan thru 17 yrs of receipts and upgrades done. Whomever buys car is getting a deal as have even more $ in car than I thought.

Hello to All,

Car sold to member of local SWFL Camaro Club after seeing car and driving in car at meet last Saturday. To all the doubters as to how fast this car was all it took was a test drive and an appreciation of how good of condition this car was in and it was sold.
