96 trans am som fully restored 400rwhp
Year: 1996
Make: Pontiac
Model: Trans Am
Price: $8500
Mileage: 2500
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): MA
Color: Orange
Transmission: Manual
about 2500 miles on rebuild
car was disassembled, the body was made 100% painted sunset orange including door jams and under the hood, new door hinges along with a lot of the small wear and tear stuff that you never really notice until you start looking real close. car also got a suncoast ram air hood.
the motor was disassembled, block and crank were inspected and cleaned up at machine shop. new bearings, oil pump, oil pump drive ect ect ect
the motor:
Lloyd Elliott stage 2 heads and ported intake
cam 228/236 .624/.606 110 lsa
kooks stepped long tubes to 3in true duel x pipe sweet thunder mufflers no cats
24x conversion
car makes 400 rwhp never brought it to the track
transmission rebuilt by tick performance stage 1.5, tick clutch master mgw shifter and new clutch, puck style, pretty aggressive but I don't mind
rebuilt rear end 410 gears new axles ect ect
sealed underneath the car to prevent rust but car never sees rain or snow and is parked inside
interior looks very very nice, spent some money in there to fix the years of abuse. the leather looks very nice. new headliner ect ect I never replaced the cracked dash pad......no Idea why lol
car needs tires, I have a used but very meaty set of rears that will go with the car but the buyer is on their own for the fronts, they aren't awful just something that's going to have to be addressed
some other details:
battery moved to the trunk
alternator relocation that kept power steering
deleted abs/tracs, heat and ac completely the engine bay looks very nice......in my opinion
suspension
lowered 1.5 all around adjustable no name shocks, all front end parts and bushings replaced
I have spent a lot of time and money on this car, it doesn't get enough use and I bought a new car that I have been giving all of my attention to. The car deserves a good home. I have 99% of the receipts as well as a million pictures of the restoration. The car isn't perfect but I think its pretty close to it for being so old. I know I am leaving stuff out, to see the car in person it doesn't disappoint. Any questions please ask. My asking price is 8500 I am located in Massachusetts

First off, awesome car. Secondly, with no HVAC at all, how you defog/defrost? I ask not to bust *****, but because in MA as you know, we are starting to hit that season where that becomes important if you want to drive it. Or was this designed more so to be a show only car where it only saw the road on PERFECT days.
Thanks!
Thanks!
