After downpipe was connected with rear exhaust, a popping developed under the car when the motor torques. I think a flex will stop this or open downpipe. Never happened before exhaust was added.
Slight belt or pulley squeak when the car is cold. Goes away when warmed up
This car is in great shape with a LOT of new parts. It is not perfect, but it is very nice. Currently it is tuned with HPTuners pro at 13PSI and 14.5* of timing. Based on the couple 1/8 miles passes I made this past Friday, it is making roughly 550hp at the wheels (trapped 99mph at an estimated 3600 raceweight). I am fairly firm on the price, but if you are interested just contact me and we’ll talk. The reason I am selling is I am trying to get in a better position to buy a house soon. Let me know if you’re interested. You can either text or PM me on here. 205-405-0667. My name is David

Update: Was planning on a dyno day yesterday to get some numbers on the new setup, but I wasn't able to go. I ended up going to Lassiter Mountain last night to make a couple of passes and see what kind of mph I could get to calculate the estimated horsepower. It trapped 97mph, and using the online calculators with an estimated race weight of 3550, it would be making 530 horspower to the wheels. I have no doubt with some more passes the car could see 100 mph in the 8th with better launch technique.

Bump it up. Got a couple of track passes in to get an idea on what kind of power it makes. It trapped 99 at an estimated raceweight of 3600 lbs. That rounds out to roughly 550 whp. It has at least 100 mph in it with a better launch or a two-step

No interest in a clean well built 01 Camaro. Make me an offer, and we'll talk. I'm slightly negotiable on it due to finding a house I want. I will not take 10,500 though. I've had several offers for that.
