1995 Camaro LS1 swap, street/strip
Year: 1995

Model: Camaro
Price: $6000
Mileage: 131000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): WI
Color: Green
Transmission: Automatic
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive
This was a project that I worked on all last Winter. The car started out as a 1995 V6 automatic that now has all the mechanicals of a 1999 Camaro Z28 SS (that I purchased as a donor). When the car was down to a bare shell I sanded and undercoated the floor pan. I also sanded primed and painted the engine bay. As it sits right now the suspension (stock), K-member, fuel lines, brake lines, fuel tank, engine, transmission, aluminum driveshaft and rear end are all from the donor Z28. Since the intention was to build a fun street/strip car I did a few mods. All the mods were done to keep the car looking as stock as possible.
To make things clearer, here is a list of the parts in the car.
The parts listed here came to $7,500.00

Mickey Thompson ET Street S/S drag radials
Fresh oil, filter, trans fluid, trans filter and rear gear lube.
Car was tuned and dyno'd at Beyond Redline in Green Bay and made 361 RWHP.
UPDATE: This Fall I ran it with some cooler air and it ran 11.65 @ 115 MPH!
Runs and drives really well! As it's a street strip car, there's no heat, AC or radio (saves weight though)!! I never installed a water temp gauge or fuel level gauge (I have them if someone wanted them - I had Auto Meter do the ohm conversion so it will read correctly).
Interior is in good shape and I spent a weekend polishing to get the paint to come out as good as I could. It turned out pretty well, but the front bumper clear coat is peeling.
Parts alone is a lot more than I'm asking and with what I initially paid for the car plus the cost of the donor car and misc. things not listed, I won't take less. Clean title.
Thanks,
Marc
**UPDATE**
Had the car listed for a long time and have had no real interest.
Decided to keep it and put a rear end in it.
