This truck was built by a professional mechanic of over 10 years, easily over $16,000 and hundreds of hours invested to do it the right way, I would drive this thing anywhere. The body is in good shape but it could a spray-on bedliner. Truck doesn't currently have a/c but we left everything there and all you would need is a high-mount compressor. Also, I think a wire is pinched for the fuel gauge b/c it isn't currently reading I just haven't taken the bed off to get into it. That is all this thing needs, just being honest.

I need 4 doors and I don't have any room in the garage so I unfortunately have to sell. I am, however, a realist, and know I can never get back what I put in to it. Looking to get somewhere in the neighborhood of $7,000. The engine, trans and rear-end along are worth close to that, plus you get a free truck!

Truck is located in Clearwater FL and can be seen anytime. If you come see and drive the truck you will not be disappointed. PM me with any questions. On to the good stuff:

Thanks for the offer but I just bought a Grand Cherokee... just because I need 4 doors doesn't mean I can't throw a nice lift and some tires on a Jeep!

Do you have any more pictures? I'm semi interested. Exactly what i'm looking for but maybe a few months early but we'll see.

Also, any idea on what kind of power this is making?

As promised I have posted a quick video, including a walk-around then firing it up. It should be appearing shortly. If a picture is worth 1,000 words then this video should do the trick

YouTube sucks, here is the video on photobucket. You don't get much engine noise under the hood b/c the dual e-fans are running but it sounds much better

FYI the audio sounds kinda shitty for some reason (I used one of those Flip Mino's) but if you listen aroun 2:50 in you get the exhaust sound. Hopefully the quality gets better but I can always post a new one if it doesn't.

The only dyno it's been on is the butt-dyno, and that feels pretty good lol. No we haven't dynoed it but it is so light that it really pulls hard.

If I still have it in a couple days I might shoot a video of it taking off out of the hole.

VERY clean looking truck for sure. Wish i wasnt unemployed right now or i would be tempted.....very tempted. I was curious why you went with a carb instead of leaving the fuel injection on it?

Free bump for you.

The way the motor is set up it is basically an ls6. The heads probably flow as well as stock 243's or better and it has the 02 ZO6 cam. Add that to the 10.8 to 1 compression and I would estimate 410-425 hp. The bottleneck is the cam at this point. This was originally gonna be a turbo motor that is why it has the small cam. Add a tr-224 or tr220 and hp should jump significantly. Keep in mind I use realistic hp numbers unlike those seen around here sometimes. Dont forget its in a 2800lb truck! Gotta go funeral today. Bump for a great truck. I should know, I built it!

Idle is great, I drive it to work in traffic on Fridays no problem. Secondaries hit hard, it is very docile in traffic but screams when you open it up. Thats all thanks to the mechanic lol.
